Louisville Geek is hosting a Block Party Fundraiser in St. Matthews June 21st. The proceeds will be donated to a very special little girl who is near and dear to the Louisville Geek family. One-year-old Hadley Mercer was diagnosed with high-risk acute myeloid leukemia when she was six months old. After fighting through several rounds of intense chemotherapy, she has recently undergone a bone marrow transplant to save her life.
The Mercer family resides in St. Matthews with two school-aged girls and Hadley. As you can imagine, their lives have been shaken and their family displaced as Hadley receives intensive care at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Please join us as we partner with neighbors Molly Malone’s, Drake*s, Tin Roof, Mellow Mushroom, BBC and Saints to host an afternoon of music and entertainment, in addition to a large silent auction. All proceeds go to the Mercer Family. Tickets are $50 each and include drink and appetizer specials, as well as cover costs for two bands that will play a stage in the BBC parking lot directly across the street from Louisville Geek’s office.
Please feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions. We hope to have your support through donation for this cause and that you know the difference you have made for this precious child and her family.
