Will Jeff Bezos ever be satisfied?

Last week, after news broke that Amazon purchased Whole Foods, it was widely reported that Jeff Bezos is next in line to become the world’s richest person, pushing his net worth to approximately $86 billion which currently trails only Bill Gates of Microsoft.

Instead of resting on his laurels, Mr. Bezos and the Amazon Empire have their sights set on joining the trend of the “try before you buy” clothing trend. By introducing Prime Wardrobe, Amazon will directly compete with programs such as Stitch Fix and Nordstrom’s Trunk Club.

Here’s how it works.

  1. Fill your box by picking 3 or more items across clothing, shoes and accessories.
  2. Try the clothes on from the comfort of your own home. You have 7 days to decide what to keep and what to return.
  3. Return the clothes as needed by dropping off at a UPS location or schedule a free pick-up.

If you haven’t tried a “try before you buy” program, we recommend giving it a shot. The convenience of trying on clothes from the comfort of your own home versus a retail store speaks for itself.
