Dr. Neeli Bendapudi visits Louisville Geek Headquarters, meets with owners

On November 29th, Louisville Geek hosted officials from the University of Louisville, including new President Dr. Neeli Bendapudi. The U of L delegation received a tour of Louisville Geek’s new state-of-the-art offices recently opened within a renovated Bourbon distillery in Louisville’s Irish Hills neighborhood and designed to match work facilities and spaces to the managed services provider’s needs.

U of L officials and Louisville Geek staff reviewed the increasing demand for qualified technical professionals, the role the university might play in helping prepare graduates for the field and ways Louisville Geek could work with the institution to assist the university in fulfilling its mission.

“We appreciate the University of Louisville team and Dr. Bendapudi taking time to meet,” said Louisville Geek Managing Partner Erik Eckel. “You can’t help but feel the positive energy Dr. Bendapudi is bringing to the university, and we look forward to identifying ways our IT firm can help make the University of Louisville a great place to learn, work and invest.”

Louisville Geek has always taken a great deal of pride in its company culture. During her inauguration speech, Dr. Bendapudi’s said something that really resonated with the leadership team of Louisville Geek. She said, “Culture is what you tolerate. I really believe it. People talk a good game, but what will you allow to happen under your watch.” As a gift, Louisville Geek gave Dr. Bendapudi with a bourbon barrel head (provided by Bourbon Barrel Rehab) with her quote inscribed.
