SMALL TOWN CHARM WITH A GLOBAL IMPACT
First established in 2004 as a modest neighborhood computer repair shop, Louisville Geek began by developing close relationships with individuals and small businesses throughout the community. The original workspace, not much larger than a garage, was soon replaced by a larger Shelbyville Road office where the organization would grow steadily over the next 10 years. Hiring support technicians, server administrators and network engineers and delivering managed technology services to businesses became the firm’s overarching focus.
As computer networks, applications, systems technology, cloud services and cybersecurity continued growing in importance for organizations of all sizes, Louisville Geek, again pressed for space, purchased and renovated a historic Bourbon production facility. The new state-of-the-art headquarters ensures Louisville Geek has the conference facilities, training space, warehouse room and offices needed to service the technology needs for everyone from small businesses to enterprise organizations conducting operations worldwide.
Throughout the pandemic, Louisville Geek established new workflows and systems, both for itself and clients needing quick, efficient and cost-effective methods enabling more flexible work arrangements. Similarly, the launch of sister firm Lexington Geek better enables the organization to service the specific needs of businesses headquartered in the state. Come what may, Louisville Geek and its team of highly skilled engineers, technicians and service professionals are committed to supporting organizations’ information technology needs.
