Louisville Geek, Strothman+Co Announce New Partnership
Alliance enables customers to assist in complying with regulations, improve and better integrate IT systems, accurately understand financial data and maximize technology investments.
Managed technology services provider Louisville Geek and the financial advisory, tax and accounting firm Strothman+Co are teaming to launch a new joint initiative. The alliance assists businesses in complying with industry regulations and requirements, better understanding financial data and maximizing technology investments, among other benefits.
The IT services and CPA firms found combining their skillsets to assist customers a natural extension of their existing relationship. The two companies previously cooperated by providing skills and expertise to one another to fulfill their own operational needs. Partnering to provide customers with similar benefits enables both firms to extend the relationship in multiple and meaningful ways.
“We’ve entrusted Strothman+Co with both our accounting and tax needs as well as our SOC 2 certification requirements,” says Louisville Geek Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ben Taylor. “Combining their team’s financial and audit expertise and ability to productively analyze data for important insights with our capable technology services just makes sense for customers increasingly facing such challenges.”
Strothman+Co COO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sarah Waskey concurs, noting “the needs businesses are experiencing for capable financial, technology and compliance assistance are steadily increasing. That’s just one of the reasons we’ve entrusted Louisville Geek to fulfill IT services for our organization and clients needing qualified technology services.”
The CPA firm’s partnership marks the latest step in expanding and diversifying its client services. “Increasingly, our clients require services and expertise that extend beyond traditional audit and accounting needs. Data analytics and technology compliance are but two examples,” adds Waskey.
Properly interpreting a multitude of fast-changing financial elements, and building effective associated data analytics and business intelligence practices to produce the needed corresponding operational information and dashboards, is becoming a functional requirement for even small and medium businesses (SMBs). Louisville Geek’s partnership with Strothman+Co ensures customers—including SMBs—receive the same opportunities previously enjoyed by only larger organizations, while adding industry compliance, regulatory requirement and financial and tax assistance to the mix.
“The need for and popularity of these data collection and business intelligence tools is only growing,” notes Taylor. “Teaming with Strothman and its 40 years of entrepreneurial expertise and innovation ensures our customers receive access to the necessary corresponding financial expertise, and compliance guidance, they require.”
